HAHAHA which mum would bring her daughter along for job interviewing and somemore is already 18 years old and which daughter will accompany her mum for job interviewing straight after school ended. I had never heard before so i think we are the first to do this.
After almost 10 years of being a housewife my mum decided to work again, her reason of not working is because she had to take care of my grandma who is physically weak at that periods of time. So i was there just to give her some moral support and be her Mrt and location guide because my mum did not know how to go there.
When i was there i think i was the only younger among the group of aunties and uncles. They were applying for the job of customer relation officer basically like cashiering job cause they were required to handle cash transaction. Well even though my mum did not work for years, she was still experienced in this servics industry as she used to be chief cashier for supermart and shopping mall. For those older days, is a job with quite a level of authority and responsiblity when things were still needed to be done manually. Well the basic principle of serving the customers would not change, it is still a customer oriented world.
Eventually she was accepted and asked to go for the company's training, happy for her. But the main thing, i wanted to say is she got high pride in herself and very confident when writing the application forms on the section of her characteristic and rated herself very high in areas such as confident, independent ,decisive etc. This was the first time in my life seeing my mum like this since she had not work, which was why i encouraging her to works because this is where her charms are.
I feel that i got a better understanding of my mum and i feel is great and we as children should spend sometime with our parent.
